senior expo 2018MHA had a fun time participating in the annual Senior Expo held on April 5th at the Mexico YMCA.  There is much to see & do at this event!  Hope you were able to attend.

MHA recently participated in a bingo afternoon at the Missouri Veteran’s Home as part of the  Second Annual Tyronn Lue Community Day of Service.  It was an honor to join our Veteran’s for the afternoon.

MHA Staff participating in the Job Finders Community Luau Event. Information was available from several Mexico area agencies.

Congratulations to Mexico resident Kim Evangelista for receiving the annual MONAHRO college scholarship. Kim is furthering her education and plans to teach upon graduation.

Noon Lion’s Club, have constructed a new “Little Free Library”

libraryat 828 Garfield Avenue, just south of the Garfield Community

Center. Come by and check out a book or magazine.

Mom’s, Dad’s, children, adults – there is something for each

one of you. Check out this link for more information on the

Mexico Housing Authority participated in the Tyronn Lue Day of Service on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.  Our employees, along with volunteer cadets from Missouri Military Academy, worked to paint the fence bordering Green Boulevard and the Mexico Housing Authority property in the Garfield Park area.  Below are employees Byron Davis Sr. and Josh Hinten, Rob Dyke, Jodie Penn and Darren Hord working on the fence.
